Steve Gendron has built a reputation as a musical and versatile drummer, educator and clinician. With over twenty years playing experience, he has been performing, touring and recording for countless artists and bands including styles such as rock, pop, funk, R'n'B, fusion, alternative, folk, jazz, blues, latin, electronica, progressive rock and metal. His experience includes many TV appearances, radio broadcasts, commercials and movies soundtracks recordings. In January 2012, Steve appeared at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California with Stephane Chamberland for Alfred Publishing. Now, He is the drummer and touring for SRV Tribute Blues Band, a tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Steve has studied at the college Campus Notre Dame de Foy in Quebec City and privately at The Wizdom Drumsheds with Stephane Chamberland (Quebec) and Dom Famularo (New-York). Teaching in his studio, he influenced drummers from all around the world with his groove and technique.
He also worked on the audio tracks for the book Pedal Control by Dom Famularo and Joe Bergamini with Stephane Chamberland (Wizdom Media, Alfred Publishing) and made all audio tracks for the book Drum Set Duet by Dom Famularo and Stephane Chamberland (Wizdom Media, Alfred Publishing).
